Local boat wins 2022 MG14 State Title Port Hunter MG14 'Wet n Wild' sailed by Matthew Rhys-Jones and Morgan York won this season's MG14 States Titles. No Club Sailing over October Long Weekend Just a reminder that there is no Club sailing on the October Long Weekend. The Club Sailing Programme will be available in the next few weeks for 16ft Skiffs, Catamarans and MG14s. Unfortunately the start of junior sailing in Flying Ants is still postponed due to COVID-19. Seniors Start on 12th September, Junior Sailing Postponed The senior divisions of the Club will start the new season on 12th September with the traditional Cobweb Cleaner events for 16ft Skiffs, Catamarans and MG14s. Unfortunately the start of junior sailing in Flying Ants is postponed for now due to COVID-19. The Club will regularly review the situation and hopefully junior sailing can recommence soon. Remainder of Season Cancelled COVID-19 has caused more sporting disappointment - the remainder of Port Hunter's sailing season has been cancelled. Note that we are hoping that a 2020 Cock Of The Harbour race may be able to be sailed later in the year. This means also that our presentation get-togethers have been cancelled (at least until the threat disipates). Hoping everyone stays safe and we can enjoy a full 2020-2021 Sailing Season.

SailFest - 2 races in 1 day This year, the Newcastle Trophy race has been moved to Saturday, to start before the Cock Of The Harbour race. There will be class racing, including the "Newcastle Trophy" race for 16ft Skiffs first, which will be followed by the annual Cock Of The Harbour Race. Class races are scheduled for 12:00 and the Cock Of The Harbour is scheduled for 14:30. All of-the-beach sailing boats are invited to participate in both events. See you then :)

2019 Cock of The Harbour Results 27 boats lined up for this year's Cock O'Harbour race but a powerful Nor-Westerly wind decimated the fleet with only 2 boats reaching the finish line. Presentation Night Presentation Night for seniors this year is to be held on Saturday 30th April from 6:30pm at a cost of just $10. Juniors Presentation Night is to be held on Saturday 23th April from 4pm and will be free for junior members and a minimal $5 for everyone else. Food will be provided at both with drinks available at the bar.
